Dominic "The Animal" Ambrose

I was born in Detroit MI on March 24th 1995 and grew up in Canon City, Co. I became enthralled with music at an early age. My father was the A/V Tech at the Casper Events Center for almost a decade and ran sound for rock bands starting In the 80s. Because of my father's history with rock, I dabbled in guitar and piano until I was invited to join my church’s praise team as their drummer in 2008. I quickly became one of the most prominent and distinguished drummers in Wyoming. I’ve played for multiple bands including Iron Asylum, Imprisonment, North Grant, Steel Pariah, and Deadpass, and featured in countless studio sessions. My inspirations include Chimaira, Lamb of God, and Meshuggah, just to name a few. I was approached by The Band Repent in February of 2021, and we’re growing stronger as professional musicians every day! We’re focused on our kickass fans and most important- music with meaning.
