Repent Bassist Joseph Rodriguez has always felt most 'at home' surrounded by Music. From an early age he was introduced to an eclectic taste of music. Between the first piece of music heard (his mother sang him 'Welcome Home Sanitarium' after birth), being Introduced to KISS and Prince by his father, His mothers play through of Mozart on Piano, and ALL of the Hair Metal; Joseph developed a taste for any and all kinds of music.
Growing up, Joseph was always enrolled in some sort of Musical Programs. Trumpet, A upper brass instrument became the first instrument that he learned. Within Two years he switched to the Euphonium, a low brass instrument and there began his love of the low end audio spectrum. From there he dabbled in other orchestral instuments including Piano, but settled on a new pathway once finding guitar which soon lead him to bass guitar.
Heavily influenced by Legends like Cliff Burton, Victor Wooten, and J.S Bach, he set out to redefine what a 'Bass' can actually be.
